Primative camping

This is often referred to as DRY CAMPING
*Primitive Camping is no electric, water, or sewer hook ups. It is basically roughing it.
*PETS ARE WELCOME WHILE STAYING IN YOUR OWN TENT, CAMPER, RV, OR OTHER TYPE OF CAMPING
STRUCTURE WHEN PRIMITIVE CAMPING ON THE PROPERTY. You are required to keep all pets on a leash
and clean up after them at all times. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN ANY OF THE PARK ACCOMMODATIONS.
*Primitive Camping can be done anywhere on the property EXCEPT within the boundaries of either of
the campgrounds, any where near any of the Park’s accommodations, or any where posted “DO NOT
ENTER”
*Primitive Camping does not require a reservation – it is not a designated location or area, it is a
location you go choose on the property. It is a first come first serve through out the property.
***Please Note- The property is approximately 2000 acres so plenty of area to choose from.
*Public Shower Houses and Restrooms are located at the main pavilion and open all weekend, day and
night, for your use at no charge
*Primitive Camping can be done in any type of structure (camper, RV, tents, enclosed trailers, truck
beds, cabs of trucks or cars, blankets on the ground, or hammocks in a tree, etc … basically anything you
can sleep IN or ON is considered a structure)
PRICING
$10.00 Per Structure Per Night (In addition to admission fees) Please reference the information above if
you question what a structure may be.
* 2 nights minimum. And CU can’t book unless there is more than 1 day selected on the calendar.
